Two weeks ago, I bought Delphi for PHP. I waited impatiently for the release in 22 march. The release was delayed about one week, but that wasn’t very important. I contacted the reseller to mail me the serial key and license file for the product, but they don’t have it yet. They suggested to download the trial version and use that until I get the mail I asked for. No problem. I went to the download page and I was shocked. 1 day trial? WTF am I gonna do with that? I hoped it was a mistake, a joke. I’ve downloaded (Downloads (keys where required)) it and installed it. I played with it for a while, but not very much because I had other things to do. Next day evening, I’ve opened it again, I’ve put some stuff on a form (text boxes, buttons etc) and suddenly it stopped responding. I thought it has a bug, or something. I closed it, opened it again and I found out that the license had expired (1 day of trial expired ). I searched on google how to extend this at least until I get the license from the reseller I bought Delphi for PHP from. I found nothing. I even searched cracks and keygen’s (naughty me :D. Nothing yet. I was very impatient to get it work because I saw there some cool samples to play with (Web Services, eCommerce). My final solution was to try desperately something very simple that only a noob will think of: get another trial license from codegear. I went to Delphi for php download page, applied for another licence at Keys Only (If you have a CD) link, and got one. It works (2 hours now :D. I used the same account I got first one from. Is CodeGear aware of this? (if not, shh, don’t tell them yet). I hope this trick will work for others, not only for me.
So, a short recap:
Go to Delphi for php download page.
If you haven’t already got Delphi for php, get the product from Downloads (keys where required).
After one day of trial expired, go to the same page, get a new license from Keys Only (If you have a CD), and you will get another day of testing.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to get a new extra trial day somehow. A new one each day at least until I’ll get the license I payed for !

Cand nu stii ce subiect sa mai discuti, ce faci? O dai in politica, fotbal, masini sau femei, adica ce stie romanul cel mai bine .
Citind stirile ca de obicei, dau peste un citat de-al lui Tariceanu in care prognoza un mers bun al economiei, vazand Romania undeva pe locul 7 in UE intr-un viitor nu tocmai indepartat. M-a impresionat (pozitiv) destul de mult atitudinea lui. Chiar daca nu as vota cu el din cauza altor prostii pe care le face (printre care taxa auto de prima inmatriculare), mi-a consolidat starea de optimism pe care o aveam in ce priveste viitorul tarii. Stiu ca e usor sa promiti si sa visezi la imbunatatirea traiului romanilor, dar atata vreme cat vezi ca e posibil asa ceva (prin exemple concrete) si nimeni nu te incurajeaza, e o pierdere enorma.
Apoi am citit un alt articol care m-a revoltat si m-a facut sa notez articolul meu in blog. In articolul respectiv, “analistul economic Ilie Serbanescu il contrazice pe Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, prognozand ca Romania va mai fi, pentru mult timp, codasa Uniunii Europene”. Pai cu asemenea gandire sa mergem noi spre “normal”? Printre comentariile total pe dinafara, specifice vizitatorilor siteului pe care a aparut articolul, am gasit unul care m-a impresionat si care zicea cam asa:
“Statul roman nu mai are parghii in economia romana! Serbanescu spune ca din cauza asta o sa fim codasii. Ba nu, dinpotriva, exact din cauza ca statul roman nu mai are “parghii” exact de aia va creste economia, cand e lasata libera si nu isi baga toti parlamentarii nasul in ea, ci piata libera dicteaza. Din cauza ca economia a fost mai libera in ultimii 7 ani, din cauza aia am crescut asa de repede. Serbanescu e un idiot comunist.” Nu le-am citit chiar toate dar am observat ca apar din ce in ce mai multi oameni care vad directia buna (economic vorbind) in care se indeapta tara. E drept, e o urmare a apropierii de Europa si a globalizarii, la urma urmei. Dar totusi, sa ramai la conceptele invatate acuma 20~40 de ani in urma, cand te invatau cum sa fii ratat si sa-ti accepti soarta, ba sa te si dai mare cu ele prin tot felul de articole si comentarii, mai bine sa visezi la avioane, cu toate ca or fi ele numai planoare…

In ultima vreme am fost stresat tot mai mult de spamul de pe acest blog. Nu a iesit nimic la vedere, dar lupta am dat-o in decor . Cam de o saptamana am inceput sa folosesc Askimet si deocamdata nu am mai avut probleme. E simplu de folosit si de instalat, mai ales de la versiunea 2 in sus. Aici se afla un tutorial video pentru instalarea acestui plugin.
Pentru cei cu versiuni mai vechi ale wordpress, am pus un filmulet cum puteti face update.

Pe cand am auzit eu prima data de 8 Martie, se spunea ca asta e ziua mamelor. Mai nou se zice ca e ziua femeii, adica si pustoaicele de la 13~14 ani in sus au dreptul sa se imbete in ziua asta. Sa se imbete de fericire, bineinteles .
La multi ani!, mamelor, La multi ani!, tuturor femeilor!
